Registration Problems and Solutions
There has been a minor change to the way that you register for tournaments. Please select the tournament you wish to register for from the Badminton BC Website. This link will now take you to Badminton Canada Tournament Software. Previously you were directed to Tournament Software.
Remember that your Badminton BC Membership must be current in order to register. The current membership year runs June 1, 2015 to May 31, 2016. See below for the login procedure and solutions to some FAQs.

Below are a list of common registration questions, as well as answers and step by step instructions to guide you through the tournament registration process.
Q. I have chosen the tournament link from http://www.badmintonbc.com/ to take me to Tournament Software but now I am seeing “New at Badminton Canada?” Do I need to register for a Badminton Canada Tournament Software account?
A: No. You can still use your existing Badminton BC Tournament Software account. You will just have to connect it to Badminton Canada - see step by step instructions here.
If you do not have a Tournament Software account, you will need to get one in order to register for all BC Tournaments. www.tournamentsoftware.com
***Note: You will require a current Badminton BC Membership ID Number to register.
Q. What happens if I forgot my Badminton BC Membership ID Number?
A. If you have forgotten your Badminton BC Membership ID Number, you can search for it on our website. Go to the sidebar, select “Membership” > “Membership ID Numbers,” and scroll down until you find your name and number.
Q. What if I do not have a Badminton BC membership, or if I need to renew my membership?
A. If you do not have a membership or you need to renew an expired membership, you can do so at our website. Go to the sidebar, select "Membership" > "Badminton BC Membership ($15.00)," then fill out the membership registration form and submit payment via PayPal.
Q. How do I connect my existing Badminton BC Tournament Software account to Badminton Canada's Tournament Software?
A: To connect your accounts, follow the steps listed below.
- Select “Login.” Enter your existing Badminton BC Tournament Software "Login Name” and “Password.”
- Select the red box that says “Click here to enter online.”
- Select “Online entry with your current account (YOUR NAME)”
- A warning will come up that says “Member ID required” and “Gender ID required.” Don't panic!
- Select “Your profile," and fill in the details required (Eg. Sport: Badminton, Strength, Member ID, Club)
- Select “SUBMIT.”
- Enter your Gender and Birthdate.
- When the Terms and Conditions page appears, check “I agree” and click “Next.”
- The "Personal Details" page will appear next. Update your profile information with your current address, email address, phone number, and club name. Once you are finished, click “Next.”
- The "Entry Details" page will appear next. Choose your events (Eg. WS30 or XD45) and click "Next."
- On the "Extra Items & Remarks" page that follows, you will be given the choice to acquire a Badminton BC Membership or renew your expired membership if you do not have a current one. Check whichever box applies.
- Other items you may add to your purchase on the "Extra Items & Remarks" page may include dinners or t-shirts where available. Select whichever you'd like purchase.
- You can also make a comment in the box labelled "REMARKS." (Eg. "I would like to play XD with John Doe.")
- When you are finished with the "Extra Items & Remarks" page, click "Next."
- You will arrive at the Verify Entry point and see "Warning: Your entry has not been saved yes." Double check that your entry and your email address are correct. If your email address is not correct, you will not receive a confirmation email.
- Click "Submit" to save your entry. Click "Previous" to change your entry.
- Once you click "Submit," you will be brought to the "Online Payment" screen. Please submit your payment through PayPal.
- You are finished! Good luck in your tournament.
