Eligibility Criteria for Provincial and National Championships
To qualify for the BC Junior Provincial Championship, athletes must compete in:
- a minimum of 50% of all BC Junior Circuit events
To qualify for the Canadian Junior/U23 National Championship, athletes must compete in:
- a minimum of 50% of all BC Junior Circuit events, and
- the BC Junior Provincial Championship
Notes:
- Junior athletes not competing in the 2018 BC Provincial Junior Championship are not eligible to compete in the 2018 Yonex Junior & U23 National Championships.
- Athletes are ineligible for the Provincial Championship until eligibility requirements are reached. See current eligibility list.
Badminton BC Membership
1) All participants of Badminton BC Junior Circuit events must be current members in good standing with Badminton BC and Badminton Canada.
2) As BC Circuit Events are nationally rated, at the time of event registration participants must
- be a current competitive member of Badminton BC, and
- have a current Badminton Canada Provincial or National Players License
3) Any invalid or not current Badminton BC membership or BCAN license will prohibit entry to the event at the point of registration. Entry fees are payable only through the on-line payment system at the time of registration.
