Badminton BC is extending the entry deadline for the Racket Festival, April 3-5 at the Richmond Olympic Oval to WEDNESDAY, APRIL 1. The Racket Festival includes various 3-hour mini-festivals with an event for every age and level of player. The Festival will conclude before the start of each Rally session, so everyone gets a chance to play and enjoy watching the professional players.
Racket Festival events include:
High School Doubles Festival - Friday April 3, starting at 3:30pm
Adult Doubles Festival - Saturday April 4, starting at 8:00am
Elementary School Festival - Saturday April 4, starting at 11:00am
University/College Festival - Saturday April 4, starting at 4:00pm (following the conclusion of Rally Session #2)
Team Competition - Sunday April 5, starting at 8:00am
*Please note that the order of events for the Junior B Provincial Championships is made so it does not conflict with the Racket Rally Festivals at the Richmond Olympic Oval. However, if there is a conflict and we are unable to work around it, Badminton BC will refund your money for the event in question. For us to work around any conflict, it is up to the player in question to contact Tournament Director Brock Turner at brock.turner@badmintonbc.com as soon as the conflict is recognized.
