Call for Volunteers !
World Police & Fire Games August 2009
Volunteers are needed for the Badminton Event to act as line persons and score keepers.
Where: Richmond Pro Badminton Club, 5800 Minoru Blvd., Richmond
When: Tuesday, August 4th to Friday, August 7th between 9 am and 6pm each day.
How: Register at the www.2009wpfg.ca website before June 30th, 2009
BE SURE TO ENTER CATEGORY “SPORT SUPPORT” WITH BADMINTON AS YOUR SPORT OF INTEREST.
Volunteers are required to commit to a minimum of 10 hours (one day) but are requested to commit to a minimum of 30 hours (a 30 hour commitment gets you a Volunteer Package)
Volunteers are required to attend to one of two 3 hour training sessions being held by Badminton BC in the month of July – dates, times and location to be announced –
Come out and volunteer – and get the best seat in the house to see some excellent international badminton competition!
Currently there are 123 competitors registered from countries all over the world, including: Canada, SAR China, Chinese Taipei, Philippines, India, Netherlands, Finland, Germany, Switzerland, Russia, Ireland, United Kingdom, Spain, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka
