Join BC's own Ram Nayyar - Canadian Olympic Badminton Team Coach for the 2012 London Olympics on Monday, June 18th as Canadian Sport Centre Pacific celebrates BC’s best athletes and coaches set to compete in the London 2012 Games.
The main event is being held next Monday, June 18, and the special send-off and public celebration will be hosted in the Olympic Village Plaza and Salt Building in Vancouver. Festivities get underway at 11:30am and run until 2pm; the schedule is as follows:
• 11:30 - 12pm: Sport demonstrations and entertainment
• 12pm: Main press conference presenting the athletes, coaches and mission staff who will represent Canada this summer in London
• 12:45 - 2pm: Athlete autograph session, sport demonstrations and entertainment
• All ages are welcome
