Badminton BC Membership Renewal Open for the 2013-2014 Season

Badminton BC membership renewals and new member registrations are now being accepted by Badminton BC for the 2013-2014 badminton season. The 2013-2014 membership season commences on June 1, 2013.
To help support the growth and development of badminton, it is encouraged that all badminton clubs and facilities in the Province of British Columbia register their members, players, coaches, officials, and other badminton supporters with membership in Badminton BC on an annual basis.
For individuals that participate at a club, facility, or school that has chosen not to register its membership with Badminton BC on an annual basis; or for individuals that do not have a club/facility/school affiliation, you may also renew or register your membership directly with Badminton BC.
To renew/register your Badminton BC Membership for 2013-2014, please either:
a) Ensure that your Club/Facility/School will be submitting your BBC Membership on your behalf; or
b) Individually complete BBC's Online Membership Form; or
c) Make alternate arrangements for club, facility, school, or individual registration by contacting Badminton BC.
Registered membership with Badminton BC provides individuals with three key opportunities:
- To personally contribute to the general growth and development of the sport of their choice, 'Badminton', both in BC and in their own zone.
- To access written and verbal communication through the Badminton BC office on ''Badminton business'' locally, provincially, nationally and internationally.
- To receive coverage under Badminton BC's Insurance Program in the event that they are injured or that their actions are judged to be negligent and cause injury to another individual or damage to property other than their own.
The Board of Directors of Badminton BC is pleased to announce that it will continue to offer Badminton BC Membership for the 2013-2014 season at the 2012-2013 season rate of $15.00/Member.
However, please note that with the re-establishment of the Membership Committee, and based upon preliminary internal reviews over the past number of months, in 2013-2014 the committee will be reviewing possible revisions to Badminton BC's current membership to allow for a more accessible membership in the future.
