This stays consistent with the pilot project used for this season. Competitions Committee will be reviewing this format over the next 3 months to determine what to implement for the 2019-2020 season.

Please be advised: In response to concerns raised by numerous players, coaches and parents over the past several seasons, Badminton BC has implemented a “No Show” fee starting with the 2018-2019 season. Essentially, any player who does not show up for a scheduled match time without informing the HOC (at least 1 hour prior to the scheduled match) will be fined $40 dollars. This policy is an effort to reinforce the values of courtesy, responsible behavior, respect and sportsmanship as set out in the BBC Athlete Code of Conduct – a no show would be considered an infraction of this shared Code. Thank you in advance for your cooperation, communication and responsible participation.
