2018 Provincial Indigenous Badminton Camp

The Indigenous Sport, Physical Activity and Recreation Council (I∙SPARC) is pleased to present this provincial athlete development camp in partnership with Sts'ailes, Badminton BC and with the support of the Province of BC. This event is being held on November 17, 2018 at Sts'ailes Community School in Agassiz, BC. 

Please note this is NOT a Team BC selection event for the NAIG (North American Indigenous Games), however, this event does provide opportunity for athletes to better prepare for the 2019 Team BC selection processes for 2020 North American Indigenous Games). Registration is open to eligible participants - No pre-qualification required.

Registration Fee: Free! Players must register in advance and submit by registration deadline. Registration is open to eligible participants - No pre-qualification required. Please register before Monday, November 12, 2018.

GENERAL: Please wear comfortable clothing for physical activity. Please bring all appropriate equipment for badminton.

ELIGIBILITY/AGES:
Male and Female Indigenous youth (First Nations, Métis, Inuit), ages 10 through 17 are invited to participate. All levels welcome from beginners to experienced badminton players.

12:15pm -12:30pm - Group Warm Up 
12:30pm -1:00pm - Physical Training
1:00pm -2:00pm - Court session
2:00pm -2:30pm Snack break
2:30pm -3:00pm - Court Session. 
3:00pm -3:45pm - Mini Tournament 
3:45pm -4:00pm - Cool Down and Debrief
