Registration for two National Coaching Certification Program courses in Terrace is open for just a few more days! The courses, which run Thursday, January 16th to Sunday, January 19th, will be taught by Abdul Shaikh, NCCP Learning Facilitator. The cost for each course ($50) is subsidized by Badminton BC and includes the manual and workbook.

Course information for NCCP Level 1 Technical Coaching Course can be found on the course poster. Highlights include:
- Technical
-Teach all Level 1 strokes using a standardised teaching methodology
- Visually demonstrate proper technique
- Analyze and correct the curriculum strokes
- Tactical
- Introduce basic singles strategy
- Introduce basic doubles and mixed strategy
- Practical
- Answer correctly a series of "Why" questions
- Accurately feed shuttles for all required stroke practice
- Shadow-swing all basic strokes
- Plan an effective practice
