coaching, training, and travel expenses to our top high performance athletes--those in our Training to Win (Open), Learning to Win (U23), Training to Compete (U19), and potentially some in the Training to Train (U16) age groups. The criteria is based on objective performance measures from the past season (i.e. competition results and rankings).
Among other requirements, athletes must have been invited and accepted the invitation to join Badminton BC's "Team BC - Training to Win" program for the 2009/10 season, to be eligible for funding.
The High Performance Committee of Badminton BC encourages all "Team BC - Training to Win" athletes to submit an application. The deadline for submission is January 15, 2010.
Sincerely,
Chris Trenholme
