2019 Canada Winter Games - Team BC Selection Criteria
The Canada Winter Games (CWG) are held every four years and showcase our athletes in the Learn to Compete (L2C) and Train to Compete (T2C) stages, as per Badminton Canada’s Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) 2.0 model. Previous BC athletes such as Darryl Yung, Anna Rice, Toby Ng, and Phyllis Chan, have used this event in their respective years to make national teams, win national titles, and even represent Canada at international multi-sport games, such as the Commonwealth Games, the Pan American Games, and the Olympic Games.
