2026–2027 Age Group and Membership Eligibility

Membership & Age Eligibility for Series or Provincial Championships

Membership, age and participation eligibility criteria for the season is to:

  • Align with a National interest to qualify entries into National Championships
  • Encourage participation in Provincial Series events to strengthen the competitive development pathways for all athletes in British Columbia

 

AGE GROUP ELIGIBILITY for 2026-2027 SEASON:

U11 / U13 / U15 / U17 / U19 / U23:

U11: Players must remain under 11 years of age throughout the calendar year in which the National Championships are held. Players must be born on or after January 1, 2017.


U13: Players must remain under 13 years of age throughout the calendar year in which the National Championships are held. Players must be born on or after January 1, 2015.


U15: Players must remain under 15 years of age throughout the calendar year in which the National Championships are held. Players must be born on or after January 1, 2013.


U17: Players must remain under 17 years of age throughout the calendar year in which the National Championships are held. Players must be born on or after January 1, 2011.


U19: Players must remain under 19 years of age throughout the calendar year in which the National Championships are held. Players must be born on or after January 1, 2009.

 

U23: Players must remain under 23 years of age throughout the calendar year in which the National Championships are held. Players must be born on or after January 1, 2005.


OPEN (also knowns as SENIOR):

• Participant can be of any age to compete in the age group
 

MASTERS:

• Players are eligibile to compete in this age category if they are age of 30 and over as of the first day of the tournament
