Badminton BC Coaching During Competitions Policy

Badminton BC has:

• incorporated the BWF rules differently according to events
• adopted the new scoring system (3 x 21) for all Badminton BC sanctioned tournaments and recommend the changes for club level tournaments
• adopted the BWF rules regarding coaching at the Open age category and Masters Competitions
• has implemented the new Badminton Canada Coaching Policy for Field of Play in sanctioned events involving competition for age-group athletes (U19 /U17 /U15 /U13). This policy can be found at http://www.badminton.ca/file/770167/?dl=1 and has been in effect since the 2017-2018 season
   

Badminton BC requires all Coaches to acknowledge and understand the:

• Coaches Code of Conduct 1.5 of the Code of Conduct Policy
• Coaches Commitment to Fair Play 2.9 of the Commitment to Fair Play Policy
