Angus started his badminton journey on his high school team in Vancouver and has competed at the provincial and college level ever since. He is also a NCCP certified coach and has been coaching for 10 years, most recently participating at the 2022 BC Winter Games as a coach. Angus is passionate about developing youth programs in BC and dedicates his time to the Royal Canadian Air Cadets program as an officer.

Annansia began her badminton journey as a young athlete in Vancouver and has since risen to become a professional badminton player, representing Team BC in numerous provincial and national tournaments. She has solidified her place in the sport with multiple gold medals, including at the BC Junior A U23 Open Provincial Championships and the Western Canadian Championships. A dedicated coach, Annansia has been mentoring young athletes for over seven years, most recently contributing as an assistant coach at the 2024 BC Winter Games. She is passionate about fostering youth development in badminton and currently serves as the Open Committee Chair at Badminton BC, dedicating her time to growing the sport across the province.
