After much deliberation around the safety and liability, both Badminton BC (BBC) and Vancouver Lawn, Tennis & Badminton Club (VLTCB) has agreed to postpone the upcoming Junior A tournament scheduled for September 24-26, 2021 to protect our members and their families during these uncertain times.  Badminton BC has been advised by government and ViaSport to follow the PHO Order.  The Order can be found here: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/assets/gov/health/about-bc-s-health-care-system/office-of-the-provincial-health-officer/covid-19/covid-19-pho-order-gatherings-events.pdf
 
VLTBC have their own concerns about hosting the tournament.  Both organizations are keen for a return to sport and to collaborate on a future date.  The event will be rescheduled when the PHO Order allows all our members, players, supporters, and staff to participate safely.  Thank you to those who registered already – we will process your refunds right away.  Confirmed future events will be announced soon.
