Norm Parry

It is with deep sadness that Badminton BC announces the passing of long time Board member Norm Parry. Norm lived in Terrace and was a strong representative at the Board table for badminton in the rural areas of our province. In addition to badminton, Norm was an avid outdoorsman. Norm was a friend to all who met him and was known for his mantra of “Life is good”. Norm was diagnosed with a rare form of lung cancer and according to his family and close friends, “…after demonstrating never ending positivity during his treatment, succumbed to a pneumonia that was unresponsive to treatments. He remained strong, was free from suffering, and demonstrated an effortless positivity throughout his journey.” Badminton BC sends it condolences to the family and friends of Norm.
