This is the senior manager position responsible for the daily operations and strategic implementation of Badminton BC, in partnership with the Board of Directors. This role encompasses overseeing programs, financial management, staff supervision, and stakeholder engagement to ensure the organization meets its goals and objectives.

In accordance with bylaw 4.3, this is to notify the membership of the appointment of the Badminton BC Nominations Committee chaired by Andrew Zhu and the “Call for Nominations” to the 2025-2026 Board of Directors is now open. Download the Call for Nominations package of information to learn more about the upcoming work of the Board for 2025-2026, requirements, role and responsibilites of a Board member, the nomination and application requirements and process. Nomination application and accompanying CV must be submitted by Thursday, August 14th 2025 11:59PM PT.

The 2025 Annual General Meeting will be held Friday, September 5, 2025 at 7:00 PM PT in person at the Vancouver Racquets Club and virtually online. All current and eligible voting members of Badminton BC are invited and encouraged to attend. Full official meeting notice was delivered to members on Friday, July 18 2025 via email. REGISTRATION AND 2025-2026 MEMBERSHIP ARE REQUIRED
Whether attending in-person or virtually each member must register AND have a current 2025-2026 membership by Thursday, August 28th 2025 11:59 PM to be eligible to vote. AGM Package, Pre-Reading Material and 2025 Financial Statements will be made available a minimum of (7) days in advance of the meeting. Register Early!

Badminton BC has partnered with the Canadian Women & Sport to implement the Gender Equity Playbook. The Gender Equity Playbook provides a collaborative review and assessment of sport organizations’ policies, programs, and practices through a gender equity lens. Badminton BC is very excited to participate in this initiative with an action plan to encourage girls and women to start and maintain playing in sport. The first step is to build a Gender Equity Team. This is a "call out" for interest to join. To learn more, understand the time commitment and what is expected, join our info session 7:00 PM Tuesday, July 8, 2025.
