Your presence and insights are needed! In addition to presentations from the Honourable Lana Popham and us at viaSport, there will be several facilitator-led working sessions, multiple opportunities for networking with your colleagues, and delicious meals to keep you fueled throughout the day. As a special thank you for your attendance, we will have a photographer onsite to take professional headshots for anyone who is interested. As a reminder, travel subsidies are available for those travelling from outside the Lower Mainland. We look forward to seeing you again in person and collaborating with you on how to strengthen the culture of sport.
Safety in Sport Connect & Convene: Focus Groups in September
Leading up to the summit, we are focused on creating an inclusive and diverse environment where people from different backgrounds and perspectives can come together and contribute valuable insights toward establishing a safer sport experience.
Our goal is to build a complaint management system for and with the BC amateur sport community, and your voices and feedback are essential to the process.
Do you have ideas on how viaSport can establish a safer sport environment in BC?
Focus group sessions will be conducted online by Now What Facilitation throughout September and will be 90 minutes long. Please complete the expression of interest form by September 8th, 2023 for an opportunity to participate. Selected participants will receive a $100 VISA gift card after completion of the session.
