5 Gold, 3 Silver, and 1 Bronze Medal for British Columbians at the XX Pan Am Junior Championships

Clinton WongOf the seven British Columbians representing Canada at the 2011 Pan American Junior Championships held in Kingston, Jamaica last week, five have brought home medals.

Leading the way for Canada was Clinton Wong, who won Gold in the U19 Team Event, and U19 Boy's Singles and U19 Boy's Doubles events.

Fellow VRC Member, Duncan Yao, also won Gold in U17 Boy's Singles and picked up a Silver in U17 Mixed Doubles.  National Team Coach, Ram Nayyar, won Gold in the Team Event.

Rounding out the British Columbian medals was Eileen Wong, who won Silver Medals in both U17 Girls' Doubles and U17 Mixed Doubles, and Michael Wu, who won Bronze in U17 Boy's Doubles.
